We pride ourselves in corporate image and have always invested keenly in providing our riders with competitive machinery and support. We have a fantastic loyal team who volunteer their services each weekend and together we endeavour to be at the forefront of Irish Racing.

This year we will be running two bikes. We are delighted to have retained Coleraine man James Dickson, who will be competing on a new GSXR K10 Suzuki the Irish Super Bike class. James joined the team mid way through the 2009 season and finished 4th overall in the ISB championship. He is an extremely charismatic and determined 25 year old and he will certainly be one of the main contenders for the championship this year.

Also joining the team this year is Greyabbey man, Kirk Jamison. Kirk is no stranger to the Mar-Train camp. He had a very successful ‘one-off’ ride with us in Anglesey last season, where he achieved 3 podiums on his first ever outing on our 600 Super Sport bike. Kirk will be competing in the Super Sport Class on our new ex-Raceways R6Yamaha. Kirk finished 4th in the Super Sport championship and certainly found his form in 2009. Our main aim in 2010 will be to win both the Irish Super Sport and Irish Super Bike Championships.

We believe we have the talent and determination in these two riders and hopefully with our support and the provision of competitive machinery, these boys can do the job! Both James and Kirk will again represent Ulster in the Six Nations event in March and hope to retain the title for 2010. This event attracts top riders from each nation and is also televised on Sky.

We are also currently talking to prospective riders for the three main international road races, being the North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix and Isle of Man TT – budget permitting.
